With Proven Positive Outcomes

Recent research on stress and burnout finds being mindful can be especially helpful in preventing burnout and raising job satisfaction in physicians and healthcare providers. The Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society, part of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, is a visionary force and global leader in mind-body medicine. For 34 years, they have pioneered the integration of meditation and other mindfulness based approaches in mainstream medicine and healthcare through patient care, research, academic medical and professional education, and into the broader society through diverse outreach and public service initiatives.

Learn from their research by watching "Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare and Society" video:

Mindfulness is about paying attention to what’s going on,” says Judson Brewer, MD, PhD, director of research at the Center for Mindfulness. “When somebody’s living mindfully, they’re really being there; as opposed to half-there or multitasking or paying attention to three things at once.”

Mindfulness FocusLiving mindfully is really about directing your attention in a focused way so you’re not being pulled along on autopilot. Meditation is used for improving well being and fulfilling potential. Training is offered on line and throughout the country. It is often used to treat anxiety and mood disorders, as well as stress and medical issues.
