SafeHaven™ ensures physicians, APPs, residents, nurses and other healthcare professionals can seek support for burnout, career fatigue or other mental health issues, outside of their employer, without the fear of undue repercussions to their medical license.
SafeHaven was launched by the Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) and VITAL WorkLife in 2020 to support state medical societies, professional associations and similar organizations who have legislation—either planned or in place—offering protections to those in the medical profession who seek help or emotional support.

This program was designed specifically for physicians, APPs and residents to help mitigate the effects of stress and burnout and allow for better work/life integration.
SafeHaven programs are delivered at the state level through state medical societies or nationally via professional associations or healthcare organizations. If interested, we will work closely with the your society, association or healthcare organization to successfully implement SafeHaven for your members. Contact us to learn more.
